Getting help from your College Navigator, Advisor, math professor, or tutoring services has never been easier!

Your College Navigator or Advisor will help you select and understand the right math course for your program of study. Advising staff, math faculty, and tutoring support professionals from CVCC's MALL (Math Achievement Learning Lab) will support you as you enroll, start classes, and finish strong.

Math Preparation Bootcamps

No cost, no grades; just snacks, interactive activities, an introduction to campus resources, and all things to help you feel prepared on your first day of college math.

  Dates: August 11, 12 & 13, 2026
  Time: 9:00 am - 11:30 am
  Activity-based class ~ Geared towards engaging students through participation ~ Conversation/collaboration with other students ~ Activities based in real life type problems ~ Includes student success activities and an introduction to campus resources
• MTH 161: Pre Calculus 1
  Dates: August 11, 12 & 13, 2026
  Time: 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
  Activity-based class ~ Geared towards engaging students through participation ~ Active learning ~ Review of basic algebra ~ Includes a free one-year subscription to the online review, study tool, and resource
