Payment Options

We are your cost-effective, higher education option. Our cost calculator illustrates this by comparing our costs to the cost of four-year colleges and universities. We want to help you with your payment options as well. Once enrolled, you can manage your payment plan by following the "Simple Steps to Enroll" (see below). Financial Aid assistance is also available to those who qualify (also see below). You can also click the below tab for other payment options.

Tuition payments can be made online with no processing fee.

Financial Assistance

Most of our financial assistance programs are needs-based as determined by Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We encourage everyone to complete the FAFSA. You can submit your FAFSA beginning October 1st of the year before you plan to begin college. The earlier you submit your application, the better your chances will be of receiving financial assistance through the FAFSA-dependent programs.

If you are pursuing an industry-recognized credential, other financial assistance may be available to you.

If you are veteran or a foster youth, we have programs dedicated to assisting you.

CVCC offers a variety of convenient ways to pay your tuition on-time and complete your enrollment.

Pay Online @ myCVCC 

Pay your tuition online through your myCVCC account with no added fees.  We accept eCheck, debit card, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover).

Pay with check by mail

• Pay your tuition by mailing a check, cashier's check, or money order (please, no cash) to CVCC's address listed below.  Please be sure to include your Student ID number in the memo line as well as a current telephone number so that we can reach you if there is any issue.

Tuition Payment Plan

• Enroll in a Tuition Payment Plan - Our tuition payment plans offer convenient payment options by allowing you to spread the cost of your tuition over multiple payments during the semester. See the below information on payment plans.

Third Party Contract (TPC) Arrangements

•  A Third-Party Contract (TPC) Arrangement enables any organization based within the U.S. or U.S. Territory to guarantee and provide tuition payment for students attending CVCC's credit classes.  A TPC does not change domicile or rate of tuition charged to the student.  The organization assumes full liability for tuition charges of students they identify in their Letter of Authorization.  Tuition and fees not covered under the TPC are the student's responsibility and must be paid at the time of enrollment.

Central Virginia Community College provides convenient payment plan options to help make your education affordable. Paying as you go makes paying for college easier by spreading the cost over time. 

Simple Steps to Enroll 

• Go to www.centralvirginia.edu.
• Log in to myCVCC student account
• Select SIS (Student Information System)
• Tuition & Payment Section
  • Select Account Details
  • Select Apply for Payment Plan 
• Payment plans are processed with Nelnet Campus Commerce
  • There is a non-refundable enrollment fee and deposit due upon application
  • All payments are collected by Nelnet Campus Commerce and are AUTOMATICALLY drafted on your scheduled payment dates.
  • Payments can be made via bank draft (saving or checking accounts) or credit/debit card (VISA, Mastercard or Discover)
  • Account balance and any remaining payments will automatically adjust when adding or dropping classes.  Notifications will be sent from Nelnet Campus Commerce.

Cancellation Policy 

• Plans will be terminated after three attempts to collect a scheduled payment.
• A student whose plan has been terminated cannot reinstate their account. The student will have to re-enroll and pay an additional enrollment fee.
