Free kickoff dinner featuring BBQ, live entertainment, gathering spaces, and prize drawings for students. The main quad will be transformed with fire pits and gathering spaces as we celebrate our 60th anniversary. Chicken BBQ will be available as long as supplies last.

Family-friendly community event on the main quad, weather permitting, with food trucks and showcase of CVCC’s programs and partnerships.
This free community event will feature an experiential showcase of academic, workforce, and career pathways. We invite the community to celebrate with us, meet our partners, hear from faculty, and enjoy time on our quad with family-friendly features. Food will be available for purchase at several local food trucks on campus.
All are welcome! No registration is necessary.
Join fellow alumni for a special gathering celebrating CVCC’s history with live music, photos through the years, and Virginia wine and beer tastings. If you have ever taken classes at CVCC, you are an alum, and your guests are welcome, too! Registration is free, but space is limited, so call your friends and secure your spot early. All registered alumni will receive a special-edition alumni wine glass.
