Introducing Ridgecats Read & Play: An Enrichment Opportunity for CVCC Parenting Students
Are you a CVCC student with a child between the ages of 0–5? Could you use an hour to focus—whether to study, read, or simply enjoy a hot cup of coffee?
Join us for Ridgecats Read & Play on October 22, from 10:30–11:30 AM in the CVCC Library.
This program is designed to foster meaningful interaction between parenting students and their children, while also providing a brief, well-deserved break. In partnership with our Early Childhood Education students, your children will engage in reading and play-based activities in a safe and supportive environment.
Program Highlights:
- Children learn and play with guidance from Early Education students
- Parents enjoy time for reading, studying, or relaxing nearby
- Opportunities to connect with other student-parents
- Light snacks will be provided
Please note:
- Parents must remain in the library at all times
- Open to current CVCC students with children ages 0–5 only
- Each child/sibling group must be accompanied by one adult
