Interested in supporting the ecosystem around your house to increase native pollinators and vegetable yields? In this class we will be discussing great native options to plant in your landscapes to do just that. We will also be discussing good options to plant to support pollinators and where to buy these plants. Native plants thrive when planted in our landscapes because they are adapted perfectly to our soils and weather. They also tend to be maintenance-free and they support native wildlife, birds and beneficial insects. Each student will be going home with a few native plants to start off or add to your collection!
This workshop meets CVCC Main Campus, Merritt Hall. Cost is $29 and includes tuition and materials.
