Please join us as we celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Army on Friday, June 12, at 11:00 a.m. in the Advising Center located in Amherst Hall.
For more than two and a half centuries, the United States Army has stood ready to defend our nation, support our allies, and serve communities at home and abroad. Established on June 14, 1775, the Army is the oldest branch of the United States Armed Forces and has a proud history of service, sacrifice, and dedication.
We invite the campus community to gather with us as we recognize the contributions and achievements of Soldiers, Veterans, Army families, and all those who have served in support of our nation's mission. The celebration will include a birthday cake, and an opportunity to honor the Army's enduring legacy.
We hope you will join us in recognizing this important milestone and helping us celebrate the Army's 251 years of service to our country.
