An academic counselor is on-site and available on an appointment basis to assist with general academic advising as well as program planning and scheduling of classes.
The complete placement test is available at the Appomattox Center on an appointment basis during the hours of operation. Students should call the Center to schedule an appointment. Students are advised to take the English and math placement tests on separate days. Allow 1.5-2 hours for the English test and 2-3 hours for the math test.
CVCC Appomattox Center hours are 8:00-5:00 Monday through Thursday and 8:00-4:00 on Friday (summer hours until 12:00 noon Friday). The Center is open for evenings for scheduled classes and appointments, phone (434) 832-7200.
