Instructions for performing basic actions in the Student Information System - SIS
- Click myCVCC at the top of the CVCC website
- Enter your Username and Password - If you do not remember your Password or Username click on the appropriate link below the SIGN IN button.
- Click Log In
- The next page displays tiles to Canvas, Student Email, SIS: Student Information System and Navigate
- Click on SIS: Student Information System
- When you are finished, always remember to Sign Out to ensure the security and privacy of your account information.

- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information System
- Click My Student Information
- Click Enrollment
- Add Classes
- Choose a Term and click Continue
- Select Search for Classes and click Search.
- Select a Subject and click Search
- Select the Class to Add
- Click Next
- Click Proceed to step 2 of 3
- Click Finish Enrolling
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information System
- Click My Student Information
- Click Enrollment
- Click Drop Classes
- Select a Term and click Continue
- Place a checkmark next to the class you wish to drop.
- Click the Drop selected class button
- Click Finish Dropping
- Refer to the Academic Calendar for important dates before dropping a class.
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information System
- Click My Student Information
- Click Enrollment
- Click Swap Classes
- Select a Term and click Continue
- Select the class in your schedule that you want to swap out from the drop-down menu.
- Choose Search for Classes and click the search button.
- Select a Subject and click search
- Click Select by the class you want to swap.
- Click Next
- Click Finish Swapping
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click on SIS: Student Information System
- Click My Student Information
- Click Enrollment
- Click My Class Schedule
- Select a Term and click continue
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information System
- Click My Student Information
- Click on Academic Records
- Click View My Grades
- Choose a Term and click Continue
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information Center
- Click My Student Information
- Expand Academics in the middle of the screen
- Click on My Academics
- Click on View my advisement report
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information Center
- Click My Student Information
- Your To Do list will be on the right side of the screen
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click SIS: Student Information Center
- Click My Student Information
- Scroll down to the Finances section
- Click View Financial Aid
- Click the desired year

- Click My Student Information
- Click Message Center Link
- Use the URL below to login and make a payment
- Central Virginia Community College - VCCS (campuscommerce.com)
- Note: If a valid email address is entered when setting up the authorized payer they will receive an email to create account. Once the account has been created the user can login.
- Click Make Payment
- Select Student Tuition
- Enter amount you would like to pay (by default the total amount owed populates the text box)
- Click Next-Payment Method
- Select either bank account or credit card
- Put in account information
- Save and continue
- Follow on-screen directions
- Note: DO NOT click Back button as payment could be submitted multiple times

- Log in to myCVCC
- Click on SIS: Student Information Center
- Click My Student Information
- Click Make a Payment
- Takes you to tuition payment system
- Click Make a Payment
- Select Student Tuition
- Enter amount you would like to pay (by default the total amount owed populates the text box)
- Click Next- Payment Method
- Select either bank account or credit card
- Put in account information
- Save and continue
- Follow on-screen directions

- Click Save

- Click on Student Records eForms Icon
- Select FERPA eForm
- Complete and submit
- Log in to myCVCC
- Click on SIS: Student Information Center
- Click on Student Records eForms Icon
- Select Student Data Change Form eForm
- Complete and submit
- Log in to myCVCC

- Click My Student Information
- Click Personal Information
- Click Addresses
- Click the Edit button beside the Address you would like to update
- Make your changes
- Click Ok and Save
- Log in to myCVCC

- Enter the Information

- Enter the Address Type

- Click on Textbooks or Find Courses
- Enter the term and course information and then click Find Materials
