Get Started at CVCC
Welcome to Central Virginia Community College!
- Complete the free Application for Admission: APPLY ONLINE
- Look for your admission letter sent via email
- Send your official high school or college transcripts to Admissions and Records*
- Collect and submit any certificates or credentials to have considered for credit - Credit for Prior Learning (CPL)
- Immediately, log into your student account using the MyCVCC username and temporary password provided at the end of your application
- Secure your account with Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) (for help contact IT Help Desk at 434-832-7649)
- Once your account is active, complete the VCCS Enrollment Survey
- Please Note - current high school students who are applying to take CVCC classes before your high school graduate (Dual Enrollment, Early College, or STEM) should NOT complete this survey.
- Complete your (FAFSA) online using the CVCC School Code of 004988. Contact our Finacial Aid Department for assistance with the FAFSA: (434) 832-7814
- Check out CVCC's payment options
- Schedule an in-person or virtual appointment by calling the Advising Center at (434) 832-7800 OR by using EAB Navigate Student
- 24 hours after myCVCC account activation, EAB Navigate Student will become available; click the icon to see your success team and to schedule an appointment
- Download the Navigate App
- Log in to myCVCC and click on "Canvas," then "New Student Orientation"
- This will be available 30 minutes after you enroll
