Each Year the CVCC Educational Foundation identifies a former student to receive the Outstanding Alumnus Award. To be eligible for consideration a nominee must have done at least one of the following:
- Completed a degree, diploma or certificate
- Completed at least 15 semester hours of course work numbered 100 and above
- Been a curricular student and completed 25 percent of the requirements
Criteria for selection:
The recipient of this award has distinguished himself/herself through outstanding achievement in professional, academic, or personal life, or in service to Central Virginia Community College as judged by the CVCC Educational Foundation. Here is a list of previous award winners:
