The CVCC TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program provides student-centered services using holistic and individualized approaches aimed at increasing college persistence and graduation rates.

 
Services are provided by this program at no additional cost to program participants.
The CVCC TRIO SSS program can help you achieve your educational goals.  There are three key student benefit components of the TRIO SSS program:


Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents accepted or currently enrolled.  Participants of SSS must demonstrate an academic need for services and be identified by at least one of the following criteria:

  • Income eligible students as determined by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • First generation to college which is defined as students whose custodial parent(s) have not earned or received a bachelor’s degree.
  • Be a college student with a documented disability in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2009 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act 1973. Students must have a documented disability that can be verified by the CVCC Student Accessibility Services.
