Instructions for performing basic actions in the Student Information System - SIS

Log in to myCVCC
  1. Click myCVCC at the top of the CVCC Homepage
  2. Enter your Username and Password - If you do not remember your Password or Username click on the appropriate link below the SIGN IN button.
  3. Click Log In
  4. The next page displays links to Canvas, Student Email, SIS:Student Information System and Navigate Click on SIS:Student Information System.
  5. When you are finished, always remember to Sign Out to ensure the security and privacy of your account information.
  6. If you need assistance contact the IT Helpdesk at 434-832-7649.

 

Enroll in a Class
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click SIS:Student Information System.
  3. Click Self Service.
  4. Click Student Center.
  5. Under the Academics section choose Enrollment:Add from the drop down menu and click Go
  6. Choose a Term and click Continue
  7. Select Search for Classes and click Search.
  8. Select a Subject and click Search
  9. Select the Class to Add
  10. Click Next
  11. Click Proceed to step 2 of 3
  12. Click Finish Enrolling

 

Drop a Class
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click SIS:Student Information System
  3. Click Self Service
  4. Click Student Center
  5. Under the Academics section click Enrollmnt:Drop from the drop down menu and click Go
  6. Select a Term and click Continue
  7. Place a checkmark next to the class you wish to drop.
  8. Click the Drop selected class button
  9. Cick Finish Dropping
  10. Refer to the Academic Calendar for important dates before dropping a class.

 

Swap a Class
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click SIS:Student Information System.
  3. Click Self Service.
  4. Click Student Center.
  5. Under the Academics section, click Enrollment:Swap from the drop down menu and click Go
  6. Select a Term and click Continue
  7. Select the class in your schedule that you want to swap out from the drop-down menu.
  8. Choose Search for Classes and click the search button.
  9. Select a Subject and click search
  10. Click Select by the class you want to swap.
  11. Click Next
  12. Click Finish Swapping

 

View Your Class Schedule
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click on SIS: Student Information System
  3. Click Self Service
  4. Click Student Center
  5. Under the Academics section choose Class Schedule from the drop-down menu and click Go
  6. Select a Term and click continue

 

View Your Grades
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click Self Service
  3. Click Student Center
  4. Under the Academics section choose Grades from the drop-down menu and click Go
  5. Choose a Term and click Continue

 

View Your Advisement Report
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click SIS:Student Information Center
  3. Click on Self Service
  4. Click on Student Center
  5. Click on My Academics
  6. Click on View my advisement report

 

View To-Dos
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click SIS:Student Information Center
  3. Click on Self Service
  4. Click on Student Center
  5. Your To Do list will be on the right side of the window

 

View Messages
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click on SIS:Student Information Center
  3. Click on Self Service
  4. Click on Student Center
  5. Click Message Center Link

 

Make a Payment - Authorized Payer
  1. Log in to https://quikpayasp.com/vccscvcc/studentaccounts/authorized.do
  2. Note: The authorized payer will receive a notification email after the payer has set him/ her up as an authorized payer. The payer is responsible for providing an authorized payer with the temporary password.
  3. Click Make Payment
  4. Enter the amount you wish to pay.
  5. Enter credit card payment information.
  6. Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
  7. Note: DO NOT click Back button as payment could be submitted multiple times

QuickPay Tuition Payment
  1. Log in to myCVCC
  2. Click on SIS:Student Information Center
  3. Click on Self Service
  4. Scroll down to Finances
  5. Click on Go to Quikpay
  6. On left side of screen click on Make Payment
  7. Select a Term from the drop-down list
  8. Enter the amount you wish to pay
  9. Enter credit card information
  10. Click continue and follow the on-screen instructions
  11. Note: DO NOT click Back button as payment could be submitted multiple times.
