Retention rates show the percentage of students that graduate from the program. Currently the program counts all forms of attrition in determining the rates. This includes students who voluntarily leave the program to follow a different career path. The majority of students who leave the program do so for that reason. Beginning in 2021 per the new JRCERT standard interpretation, the program will count only students who leave for academic reasons.
The CVCC Radiography program sets our retention benchmark at 80%.
