Central Virginia Community College in partnership with Bombardier Recreational Products, (BRP) manufacturers of Can-am vehicles, offers a 3-wheel class designed to teach riders the skills necessary to safely operate a three-wheel vehicle on the street, even if one has never ridden any kind of motorcycle. The 15-hour course takes the rider through the basics of motorcycle operation, effective braking, turning skills and obstacle avoidance, as well as other safe riding strategies. Upon successful completion of the course, students are provided a Virginia license waiver to be taken to the Division of Motor Vehicles for endorsement purposes. A Can-am on-road model will be provided for the duration of the course. This course is physically demanding, and students should be in good physical condition. To access the 3-wheel textbook please go to www.msf-usa.org/downloads/3WBRC_Handbook_2017.pdf
