Students who plan to transfer should consult an academic counselor to verify specific program requirements with their intended four-year institution. While an elective course may satisfy a requirement for a Central Virginia Community College program, it may not fulfill a requirement at a four-year institution.

1Students should confer with their intended transfer institution to determine transfer electives
MTH 167 may be replaced with MTH 161 and 162, but doing so will require MTH 263 to be taken during a summer session or students may not complete the program within 2 years.
Students may not complete a HIS course to fulfill this requirement
4Students must complete 3 credits from one of the three areas but may not be from the same area as course #5. Students who choose a Literature elective must have completed ENG 112 prior to enrollment.
5Students who take Organic Chemistry I (CHM 241 & 245) alone or followed by Organic Chemistry II (CHM 242 & 246) as their electives will finish their program with more than 61 credits.
