This program is designed for the student who desires a career in technology, computer networking, or advanced manufacturing. It combines content from electronics, and computer networking and programming. In class knowledge is balanced with practical, hands-on training. Upon completion of this program, the student will be qualified as a technician with great career potential in the local area.


Individuals are eligible for admission to CVCC if they are high school graduates or the equivalent, or if they are eighteen years of age or older and able to benefit academically from study at the community college, as demonstrated by assessment in reading, writing, and mathematics.


  • Access to a computer that meets or exceeds the PC Specifications for Technical Programs.
  • All students expected to complete the requirements for a degree, diploma or certificate must complete an Application for Graduation.
