Virginia’s Community Colleges’ online offerings provide online support, flexible learning and programs designed to meet your needs.

CVCC is a partner of the Online Virginia Network (OVN), an online college completion tool for Virginians wanting to complete their higher education.

Many online courses, including those at CVCC, allow students to complete coursework on their time through flexible, remote learning.  OVN has already helped more than 15K individuals with some college credit earn a certificate or degree through online courses.

Key points to consider when choosing to learn with us are:

  • Virginia’s Community Colleges Online helps adult learners complete short-term certificates online.
  • You can have a successful career with a career certificate from CVCC, or other Virginia Community Colleges.
  • You can jumpstart your career with online workforce training and earn a credential in just a few short weeks.
  • Virginia’s Community Colleges Online is affordable and about one-third of the cost of tuition and fees compared to 4-year universities.

Already have some college credits under your belt? Online Virginia Network is designed to help you finish school and earn a certificate from various locations throughout the state. Choose from dozens of certificates from seven partner community colleges including: Blue Ridge, Central Virginia, Northern Virginia, John Tyler, Reynolds, Tidewater and Thomas Nelson.

Completing a college degree isn’t just something that benefits the graduate. A more highly-educated workforce benefits all Virginians in two keys ways: by making our Virginia-based companies more competitive both here at home and abroad, and by making our state more attractive to companies who are looking to relocate or expand.
