The math section is a computer-adaptive test based upon 30 Algebra 1 questions.  If you demonstrate proficiency with the Algebra 1 questions, the test gets progessively more difficult until you reach an area in which you are not proficient or reach the end of the test.  If you do not demonstrate proficiency with the Algebra 1 questions, the test will get progressively easier until you reach an area in which you are proficient.
