Test Scores - Course Placement

English/Reading and Math competencies are foundational to most college courses. Assessing your college readiness in these areas minimizes the chance of you taking classes that are too easy or too difficult.  CVCC has multiple ways to place you into college level courses. If you have taken the ACT, SAT, or the GED within the previous five years the test can serve as your assessment.

If you graduated from high school within the last five years, learn how your high school transcripts can place you into college level courses.
